In the morning of the exhibition opening, a thick wall of fog covered the scenery. It felt like we had lived in a miniature landscape under a class dome. Now someone had shook it so, that we could not see the outside.

We worked almost for a full week without leaving the island of Suomenlinna, in the Helsinki archipelago. The moment people finally arrived with the ferry through the fog, the glass dome scattered. All the sudden the process of creating came to an end and we could step back and see what we had done for the first time. Well, I still have no clue to be honest.

The opening seremony / performance was a beautiful way to experience the artworks together and finally let go of them. It was nice how in the beginning, everyone was so silent and tuned for the smallest sounds and gestures. When I was playing with the water drops I felt I was having a conversation with the rain outside, that you could hear from the open door.

A good evening that eventually led us to our wooden sauna at Tapanila. In the end having an exhibition is just an excuse to get friends together and have some good time. In that we absolutely succeeded. Perhaps while doing that, also some good art emerged.

Thank you everyone who helped us making this exhibition happen and huuge thanks to everyone coming to the opening! We’re planning out a harvest party in the end of the exhibition. More on that later!

And also if you haven’t already, go see the exhibition, I’m quite proud of it! If you want to help out, you can always spread out the word!
