Testing out a 16mm film loop for my thesis work “Are the trees watching us?” and composing simple generative techno with behringer neutron.

I had troubles with the perforation being partly destroyed by a camera melfunction, so i had to do a lot of tape fixes on the film. As a result it made a lot of problems with the film claw missing the sprokets. A lesson learned, the hard way…

I didn’t end up using the techno in the final piece, but I had a lot of fun experimenting with it. Also the projector can read optical audio so that’s something i will look into in the future.
