16.01.25 – Notes from Hypernormalisation by Adam Curtis.
A huuuge recommendation! This doc came already in 2016, but still super relevant. I like the idea of hypernormalisation. I felt it gave a name for a phenomena I have always felt, but never quite understood. Perhaps it’s the reason the atmosphere in Tarkovsky’s films resonate so well with me, even though I don’t understand them.
